Service terms

Plain terms for the work DOBE does.

This page summarizes the public baseline. Your signed quote, scope, and service agreement contain the exact project terms.

01

Agreement and project documents

These website terms apply when you use DOBE.dev. Paid work is also governed by the signed quote, statement of work, and service agreement for that project. Those signed documents control if they conflict with this public summary.

Payment by itself does not authorize DOBE to access business systems or begin production work. Scope, permissions, and service terms must be approved first.

02

AI Employee MacBook

The dedicated AI Employee MacBook starts at $5,000 upfront + $300/month. The base setup includes the Mac, one-screen business workspace, approved owner-and-business context, access structure, deployment, and one tightly scoped Starter Workflow allowance.

A Starter Workflow is one tightly scoped business outcome with clear inputs, rules, output, and review. A harder first job receives the Starter Workflow allowance and the added scope is quoted before work begins. New jobs and material changes are separate scope.

The monthly fee covers monitoring, compatibility maintenance, repairs to approved workflows, routine context corrections, normal support, and standard usage. It does not include new jobs, new integrations, major redesigns, or general physical hardware damage unless a signed agreement says otherwise.

03

Guarantee, refund, and Mac ownership

The 14-day satisfaction period starts at Operational Delivery. A cancellation during that window refunds the cash collected on the AI Employee MacBook upfront invoice minus the $750 setup and deployment fee, and the Mac is returned to DOBE.

The physical Mac transfers to the client after the 14-day guarantee period if the agreement remains active. DOBE retains its software, workflows, code, configurations, and other intellectual property.

After the guarantee period, the upfront AI Employee MacBook build fee is non-refundable. A completed Workflow Assessment fee is not refunded, and an applied assessment credit is not restored.

04

Standalone workflows, websites, and custom software

A standalone managed workflow is quoted separately and does not include a MacBook, the one-screen workspace, the Starter Workflow allowance, hardware ownership transfer, or the AI Employee MacBook guarantee.

Standalone workflows, websites, and custom software are priced and governed by their signed quote or agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, an upfront workflow build fee becomes non-refundable once production work begins. Project timing depends on approved scope, access, client review, and third-party availability; DOBE does not promise a universal seven-day delivery window.

05

Your data and responsibilities

You keep ownership of your data, content, logos, images, records, and other client-owned materials. You are responsible for giving accurate rules and examples, keeping required subscriptions active, reviewing approval-gated work, and obtaining any notices or permissions your business requires.

Passwords, authentication codes, recovery codes, and copied browser sessions should be entered only into the official app or website. Do not send raw credentials to DOBE.

06

DOBE software and intellectual property

DOBE retains ownership of its software, code, prompts, agents, automations, templates, methods, configurations, and workflow components. While an agreement is active and fees are current, the client receives the limited right to use the approved system for its own business operations.

Custom client materials and deliverables are handled by the signed project agreement. Ending managed service may require DOBE to disable or remove proprietary workflow components while returning client-owned data and materials as the agreement requires.

07

AI, approvals, and third-party services

AI and automation can make mistakes. The client remains responsible for business decisions and for reviewing work at the agreed approval points. Money movement, accounting changes, customer or vendor messages, legal rights, and other high-impact actions require the authorization and safeguards recorded in the signed scope.

Connected AI providers, email systems, accounting tools, CRMs, hosting providers, and other third parties operate under their own terms and availability. DOBE is not responsible for an independent provider outage, policy change, or act outside DOBE's reasonable control.

08

Service limits and termination

DOBE does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, search rankings, revenue, savings, legal compliance, or another specific business result. Liability, notice, suspension, and termination rules are stated in the signed service agreement for paid work.

If managed service ends, DOBE may remove its access and proprietary components. The client retains client-owned data and, after an ownership transfer has occurred, the physical MacBook.
